Lisa Yee’s books include a trilogy for middle-graders, Millicent Min, Girl Genius; Stanford Wong Flunks Big-Time; and So Totally Emily Ebers; and the young-adult novel Absolutely Maybe. She lives with her family and dog in South Pasadena, California and often hangs out with Dan Santat.

Dan Santat’s first book, The Guild of Geniuses, was selected for the Society of Illustrators Original Art Show. The artist behind many highly praised picture books, he also created the animated TV show The Replacements. He lives with is family, and bird, and cat, and rabbit, in Alhambra, California and often hangs out with Lisa Yee.
